An additional brand request from Caption Colorado was the creation of a newsletter that could be used for internal communication as well as being distributed to select customers. 

This project was another where I am afforded complete creative freedom to come up with the name as well as the design elements of the brand. 

I ultimately ended up proposing Sidelines as a solution because the news letter was intended as a behind the scenes look into the business of captioning. Captioning is done one line at a time and I felt that the words 'side lines' represented the concept well. 

The triple chevron >>> in captioning represents a new subject so I incorporated them into the logo to represent the iconic captioning symbols, but to also represent new subject material.
