This is an interview that I created with Freddy for Leviathan scuba. The purpose of this video was to introduce Freddy to his audience. I decided to accomplish the introduction through an interview style video in which Freddy interviews himself. I accomplished this by conducting an initial interview in which I derived the initial questions that I would ultimately have Freddy ask himself. The actual production was accomplished by me playing both roles opposite Freddy (interviewer, interviewee) and then editing the two together into the final version. In order to ‘sell’ the concept of the interview actually being between two different people, I had Freddy hand himself a beverage near the beginning of the interview. This served to establish the concept, and allows the viewers to buy into the illusion more fully.
